Due to unavoidable circumstances, the KickStart Text editor could not be made available with the release. We recognize, however, that text is the most widely used media and not having a text solution was unacceptable. For this release only, the DR5 OpenDoc SampleCode TextEditor has been substituted for the KickStart Text Editor.

  13. The SampleCode Text Editor has the following known bugs:

  15.     • Drag and Drop of text from localized versions of SimpleText will not preserve the font used.
  16.  
  17.     • A System error will occur if the KeyScript is set to Japanese when TextEditor stationery is embedded,
  18.         then activated.
  19.  
  20.     • When TextEditor is embedded in ODFContainer or ODFDraw, choosing "Part Info" for the text will
  21.         generate a user break followed by an OpenDoc exception. This is not fatal.
  22.  
  23.     • TextEditor does not "change" the font when a user selects a different script from the Keyboard menu.
  24.         This specifically reproducible with the Japanese system of Language Kit.

  26.     • Incorrect behavior when setting the margins to 2.0 inches (or larger).
